A new Program Policy was established by the ICD Governing Board as a direct result of program shortages, misdirected focus, and a need to have more cost effective programs.
Effective immediately, the Institute for Career Development has made changes which limits the number of personal development courses in the following areas:
- Arts/Crafts/Music
- Health/Fitness/Sports.
A listing of courses in these categories can be obtained from Career Development. |

The policy changes are as follows:
Employees can only attend in 2 classes which fall under the following areas:
- Arts/Crafts/Music
- Health/Fitness/Sports, not to exceed a maximum cost of $1,250 per calendar year.
Before an employee can enroll into future classes in the above categories for the following year, they must complete a course offered in any other category (i.e. basic skills, pre-technical, computers, finance, etc.) Personal Development courses are NO longer available as a private lesson. |
